We’ve recently got word that a plane has crashed near a Dubai highway belonging to the United Parcel Service, UPS. Eyewitness’s described the scene of devastation shortly after witnessing the plane crashing near a highway, Emirates Road,“I saw a bright light off to my left and then there was a massive explosion. Fire rushed along the ground, and the flames must have been 100ft high. The flames tracked along the ground and got smaller, then died out completely.”
The aircraft belonging to UPS was a Boeing 747-400 cargo plane. The plane took off from the Dubai International airport, headed to Cologne, Germany. It crashed minutes later in a sparsely populated area about 20 kilometers form the the airport itself. Early reports have indicated that 2 crew member’s bodies were pulled from the wreckage. Vehicles were also on fire, as a massive explosion was sparked during impact.
