This past weekend we saw Glenn Beck’s ‘Restoring Honor Rally’ attract an extremely large attendance. A day later there was talk on whether or not he would consider running for President or Vice President in the 2012 election. The answer was “no,” according to Glenn Beck himself.

Now we see a new website called TheBlaze.com, which has been launched by Glenn Beck. “The Blaze” is a conservative news website in that looks very familiar to the Huffington Post. Beck who is already a rising voice for conservatives across the nation on TV and radio, now has “Online News Site Owner” on his resume.

Beck explained what his new site will entail.

“A place where you can find breaking news, original reporting, insightful opinions and engaging videos about the stories that matter most,” said Beck.

The editor of the new website will be a former employee of Breitbart TV, Scott Baker. Baker has informed the media that the website will include news and opinion stories.

As for how much readership the new site will get? Only time will tell.

Beck said he was very discouraged about how the general media covered his “Restoring Honor” rally. Perhaps he can now make a difference. So far the website looks to be getting a lot of traffic.
