FFXIV Beta

Square Enix servers overloaded from FFXIV Players

There is some good news for Final Fantasy lovers. Final Fantasy 14 (FFXIV) open beta has begun. The only problem is that the Square Enix account management system has been overloaded by players looking to play the game.

Final Fantasy XIV is scheduled to officially release on September 30, 2010 with an early release date of September 22nd. In order to register for the FFXIV Open Beta, you can visit the FFXIV.com website at http://entry.ffxiv.com. You will be asked to log in with your Square Enix account and then apply.

Square Enix is expected to upgrade their system by September 22, so these server overload issues will not exist once the game is officially released .

If you are having trouble trying to play the Open Beta, because the Square Enix account log in is not loading properly, the only thing you can do is try again.
