The Indian superstar, Rajinikanth, saw his daughter Soundarya get married to Ashwin Ramkumar, a Stanford graduate and entrepreneur, on Friday September 2nd in Chennai, India. The wedding which is said to have been extremely lavish was attended by many high profile guests, and Bollywood stars. Rajinikanth requested that his fans not attend the wedding, saying in a statement earlier in the day, he wanted to invite each and every one of his fans, however, “he was unable to do so because of space constraint and logistic reasons.”

Guests stated that Soundarya Rajinikanth was looking stunning, wearing a red saree, and her as well as the groom were all smiles throughout the wedding ceremony.

Soundarya is the CEO of Ochre Productions, and is currently working on an animation film called “Sultan The Warrior.” Her father’s voice is used for the lead characters role in the film. The film will be released later this year.
