Carmelo Anthony is almost surely going to be traded before the new NBA Season begins. He has provided the Denver Nuggets with a list of teams that he would be willing to play for next season, and several seasons thereafter. The best case scenario for him would be a sign and trade deal where he would sign an extension and then get traded to a team he is willing to play for. Currently there is a list of at least 5 teams he would be interested in playing with. They include the Warriors, Bobcats, Clippers, Rockets, and Nets.

It appears as though the Clippers and Nets are his favorites of the possible destinations. One of the main reasons he would like to play for the New Jersey Nets is because his wife LaLa Vazquez, works in the NJ/NY area for MTV. That would probably give them the edge over the other teams as of right now.

We should see sometime in the coming week or two where Carmelo Anthony will be playing next season, if all goes as planned. The NJ Nets may just be getting a superstar soon.
